How can I register to become a Fasthosts Affiliate?
You can register through TUNE. It’s quick and simple, just click the link to sign up and get started. You’ll be set up as an Affiliate in no time.
To avoid any potential confusion, we do use the IONOS Affiliates Platform to deliver our Affiliates Programme, meaning you may see reference to IONOS in URLs and other places.
What do I need to participate in the Fasthosts Affiliate Programme?
To take part in our hosting Affiliate Programme, you need a website or email template on which you can integrate Fasthosts advertisements.
Please note that websites featuring any inappropriate content are excluded from the Fasthosts Affiliate Programme. For more information, see the Fasthosts Affiliate Programme Terms and Conditions.
How do I integrate a banner or other advertising links on my website?
In your affiliate network account you will find resources available for advertising our products. For each banner or text link, you will find the corresponding HTML code. Copy this code and paste it where you want the banner to appear on your website. If Fasthosts makes any changes to the banners or text links they will be automatically updated on your website.
How do I measure a successful purchase and commission?
Tracking is used to measure your success and track the performance of your affiliate marketing and website advertising services. The Fasthosts tracking feature shows which advertising products are generating income and how much you have earned. This data is then processed and you are paid your commissions.
If the user doesn’t order immediately after visiting your website, the cookie is the most important tool to allow us to recognise commission if they purchase at a later date. A cookie is a small text file which saves information about what your website visitors have clicked on. Your Affiliate ID and the ID of the clicked ad are recorded. If the user then orders within 30 days via the Fasthosts website, all relevant data can be processed and you’ll receive your commission.
The acceptance of cookies on the user’s computer is required for collecting feedback on mediated orders. You can find more information in our Affiliate Programme Terms and Conditions.
When is a commission confirmed and paid?
The maximum length of time before commission is paid is 75 days. It’s possible to be paid sooner, but order validation must be done prior to authorising sales, which can increase the wait time.
What restrictions are there on Affiliate sales?
Please note the following requirements for valid Affiliate sales:
- A cookie can only be sent when clicking the advertisement
- Sending a cookie when you display the advertisement (post view) is not allowed
- Mediating sales without complying with the Fasthosts search engine guidelines is not allowed

Why was my commission cancelled?
Your commissions may be cancelled if:
- The customer has a negative credit rating
- The customer cancels the contract during the trial period
- The customer orders twice and one of the orders is cancelled
If none of these answers apply to you, contact us at partner@affiliate.ionos.com quoting your Affiliate ID and the customer data.
Why was my commission not registered?
Your commissions may not be registered if:
- Your integration of the advertising code on your website is not correct
- Your cookie is overwritten within the 30-day cookie duration period by another Affiliate, and the commission is credited to them
- The customer turns off the cookie acceptance in the settings of their internet browser
- The customer deletes their saved cookies
