Dedicated Storage Servers

Our Storage Servers are Dedicated Servers that have had their storage capacity amped up so that you get more room to go big with your projects. They give you up to 96TB HDD and 46TB SSD storage, alongside all the features our other Dedicated Servers offer, like first-class performance from high-end AMD and Intel tech, unlimited traffic, full root access, unlimited IPv6 addresses and your choice of OS. Plus we keep them all secure in our ISO 27001 certified data centres.

These servers are designed for those needing the high-performance features you get with our Dedicated Servers, just with an extra boost in storage space. You can use them as a cloud storage solution on your own network, setting up your own email marketing platform, or even for managing large databases.

Our servers use top-of-the-line tech to give you the powerful performance you’d expect from dedicated resources. You can choose either an AMD Ryzen 5, AMD Ryzen 7 or Intel Xeon Gold Processor with up to 12 cores and get up to 96GB DDR4 ECC RAM. And what makes our Storage Servers so special is that we’ve given them a high storage capacity so that you can also get up to 96TB HDD or 46TB SSD to store, backup and share your projects and data. Store your data on Seagate Exos 7E8 HDDs or Samsung PM883 2.5” SATA SSDs, both build for bulk data storage, keeping everything safe, secure and fast to access.

Cyber Protect is used to backup data, system states and more. It means that you have a copy of important files, folders, software and more so that if the unthinkable happens, you can restore IT systems, devices and individual files. The important thing to remember is it focuses on the storing of data backups.

A Storage Server can also be used as a backup solution, storing a wide range of data types that you can access and manage via the internet. But, with a Storage Server, you’re also getting an entire server dedicated to you, resources and all. You can manage the whole thing, including choosing which operating system you want to use and installing whatever software you need. On top of using it as a backup option you can use it as a web server, media storage, shared cloud network storage or even as a gaming server.

Network Attached Storage (NAS) is pretty much what it says on the tin. It’s a device that’s attached to a computer network to store data. They’re great for storing data in a central location that’s easy for office users to access, similar to having your own private cloud storage.

A Storage Server is along the same lines as this, in that it’s a server that’s optimised for storage – ours give you up to 96TB! In fact, the great thing about having a Dedicated Server with large storage is that you can use it as a cloud storage solution for company files in the same way as a NAS. But you can also load it with its own operating system, install database management software, use it as a media server or even use it to backup important business data.

Server storage space is exactly how it sounds. It’s storage space on your server that you can use to store files, data and more. It works the same as the storage you have in your computer, except that it’s much larger in size meaning you can do a whole lot more with it, especially when you have up to 90TB. With our Storage Servers, we also use secondary storage space that is allocated for your OS and software. This keeps your primary storage free to handle all your data and project files.

When you configure your server we’ll automatically give you 2GB free Cyber Protect Basic powered by Acronis. It will be preselected for you, if you don’t want to add it to your server, or you want to increase to a larger backup option you can easily change it.

Free Cyber Protect Basic applies to all of our dedicated Storage Servers and is available to customers who don’t have an existing Cyber Protect package.
