  1. How to participate

    1. In order to enter this prize draw to win a 70cl bottle of whisky and a stuffed toy animal, go to https://admin.fasthosts.co.uk/DomainNames/Registration#CATEGORY_REGIONAL and complete a purchase of a .wales or .cymru domain using code DAFFODEAL. For free postal entry, see section 1.6
    2. All online entries must include your valid and fully functioning email address.
    3. Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions will be void and will not be entered into this prize draw.
    4. If you submit an entry for this promotion, we will treat you as if you have accepted these terms and conditions and are agreeing to keep to them.
    5. We do not accept any responsibility for network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay in you sending your entry or us receiving it. Proof you sent an entry is not proof you entered the draw.
    6. There is no fee required to enter into this prize draw. To enter by free postal entry, users must:
      1. Write their Fasthosts UserID, first name, last name and “Fasthosts Marketing - DAFFODEAL contest” on a postcard which is to be sent by 1st or 2nd class post to the following address: Fasthosts, Discovery House, 154 Southgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 2EX.
      2. Postal entries must be received 48 hours prior to the contest deadline defined in clause 3.
    7. Fasthosts reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and the competition terms and conditions and associated rules at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on the Fasthosts website.
    8. You may only submit one entry to this promotion.

  2. Start date

    1. This promotion will start at 9:00:00 GMT on 23 February 2023.

  3. Closing date

    1. The closing date for this promotion will be 10 March 2023 at 23:59:59 GMT. Entries received by the promoter after this time will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.

  4. Selection of the winner

    1. One winner will be selected.
    2. The winner of the prize draw will be the first entrant randomly selected from all entries correctly submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions.

  5. Prize

    1. The prize is as follows: one bottle of whiskey and a stuffed toy animal.
    2. There is no alternative prize.
    3. The prize is non-transferable and does not include any additional costs and expenses.

  6. Restrictions and requirements

    1. Please note the following restrictions and requirements apply: You must be aged over 18 years and you must be a resident in the United Kingdom.
    2. Employees of the promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter this promotion.

  7. Notification of the results and receipt of the prize

    1. The promoter will notify the winner by email and/or telephone on or before 24 March 2023 and provide a valid mailing address to receive the prize. If a selected winner does not respond to the notification and/or provide a valid mailing address within 14 days, the prize will be forfeited and the promoter will select an alternative winner from the remaining eligible entries in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will also have 14 days to respond to their notification).

  8. Publicity and personal information

    1. By entering this promotion, you agree to your personal information being used to process your entry, to contact you about your entry, and for the purpose outlined in clause 8.2 below. The promoter will use your personal information only in accordance with these terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy.
    2. The surname and county of the winner can be obtained by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Fasthosts, Discovery House, 154 Southgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 2EX.
    3. If you do not want your surname and county included on the list of winners referred to above, please notify the promoter a reasonable period of time before the closing date of the promotion.
    4. You may be asked to participate in publicity relating to this promotion if you are selected as a winner.

  9. General

    1. This promotion is operated by Fasthosts Internet Limited, Discovery House, 154 Southgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 2EX.
    2. While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit the promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, the promoter will not be legally responsible to entrants or winners for any losses that were not foreseeable to the promoter or to the entrant at the time of entry to the promotion or which are caused by a third party.
    3. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct, results and all other matters relating to the competition, the decision of Fasthosts shall be final and under no circumstances shall there be any correspondence or discussion in respect of said decision.
    4. Fasthosts will not be liable for any failure of receipt of entries. Fasthosts takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid.
    5. Fasthosts reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it suspects that the entrant has not complied with these terms and conditions. Fasthosts reserves the right to make decisions about compliance with these terms and conditions at its sole discretion.
    6. We will not be liable for prizes that do not reach winners for reasons beyond our reasonable control.
    7. The laws of England and Wales apply to these terms and conditions.
    8. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
