Founders Series: How to add AI to your business strategy
Welcome to our Founders Series, where we aim to give advice, answer questions and provide solutions for people starting their own businesses. If this sounds like you, read on! We've got plenty of content on a wide range of topics, all to help you grow and succeed as a founder.
With the popularity of AI only growing every day, it seems like it’s inevitable that eventually every business will be using some form of AI. And that’s not a bad thing. If adding an AI tool or two to your business strategy is going to increase workflow and aid productivity, then why not?
There’s a misconception that AI is here to replace humans and although that may be the case in some areas, it’ll never fill in the gap that human creativity and the human touch provides. So instead of seeing AI as the enemy, add it to your business strategy in areas that you’re lacking, rather than firing your designers in place of AI-generated images or content.
In this blog, we’ll take a look at a few of the ways that AI can help your business and add something instead of replacing it.
Chatbots
Unlike in the movies, AI Chatbots aren’t here to tell you about their plans for world domination. They’re also not just used for writing your emails for you. They can actually be incredibly useful tools for generating new ideas. Not everything they come out with is going to be the next best seller, or Apple 2.0, but bouncing ideas around and seeing what’s produced is a productive and sometimes fun way of getting out of that idea slump.
Whether you’re deciding on a domain for your new business, or looking for that killer ending to your business proposal, popping a few questions or key phrases into tools like ChatGPT and seeing what comes back can get the creative juices flowing.
Why not try:
Grammar checkers
There’s nothing like the human touch, but if you’ve got 30 other emails that also need the human touch then why not use a grammar checker to trawl through for those inevitable typos? Save yourself time and resources that can be spent getting on with that growing to do list.
It’s important to make sure that your emails or the content you put out sounds and looks professional because if your customers receive communication littered with spelling mistakes, grammatical errors or missing punctuation, they’re unlikely to trust your business and mark you as spam. But it takes a lot of time to perfect content, especially if you’ve got so much else to do. So take that weight off your shoulders and use an AI grammar checker, like the ones below.

Speaking of email, is your inbox looking a little full these days? Too many ‘unread’, not enough ‘read’ clogging up your day? Get organised with AI tools that sort and summarise your inbox.
Going on holiday should be a stress-free time, but not if in the back of your mind you’re thinking of all the unread emails piling up for when you get back. That’s where Copilot for Outlook and Gemini for Gmail come in. They both work in pretty similar ways – helping you draft emails, summarise email threads, and suggest email responses. So whatever your email provider preference, there’s an AI assistant for you.
If you’ve got a long email thread and you’re looking for just a quick catch up, both tools allow you to click a ‘summarise’ button and will give you a brief summary of the main bits that you’ve missed. So you can save yourself an hour in the morning!
Why not try:
Scheduling
Scheduling is one of those tasks that no one really wants to do, but without it everything would become a complete mess. Whether you’ve got a team of 5 or 500, you’ll still need a schedule to organise tasks, meetings, calendars and everything in between.
If you also dread the scheduling days, why not call AI for a helping hand? There’s loads of tools that you can use to optimise workflow, productivity and collaboration, without making a mess of things. Some of the tools below, like Reclaim, can even help you make personal to do lists for your own workflow organisation.

Have a chat with Pip
AI is changing the way businesses work all the time, and we’re no different. That’s why we’ve introduced Pip, our AI Domain Name Generator. Pip will help you come up with ideas for your new domain in just a few clicks. Type in some key words or phrases about your business and watch the suggestions roll in. And if you’ve got a preferred TLD, include that in your prompt and Pip will only suggest available domains using that TLD. It’s so easy and stops that writers block panic from setting in.
If you’ve got any questions or would rather talk to a human about your business, project or domain, get in touch. Our team of experts are available 24/7 to help. Just give us a call on 0333 0142 700 or message via live chat.
